Building Handyman Needed

We have a position open for a building handyman/superintendent in Hempstead.

A resume MUST be submitted in order to be considered for this role.

They need to speak English.

They need to be able to use email and common apps on the cell phone (phone provided by Employer).

They should have experience operating building mechanical systems.

They will need to interact with the client as they are onsite at the location.

They will be responsible for calling in contractors for periodic maintenance, repairs and new projects and responsible for following up with contractors.

Hourly wage will be $20.00, health benefits, vacation, sick, holidays once they have completed 3 Months and have gained entry into the Union.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm. Employee would need to be on call for emergencies and be available for OT as the need arises for projects/maintenance.

The right person will need to be a take charge kind of person, a hard worker and understands the importance of follow up.
