Business AnalystBCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Business Analyst - New York, NY We place consultants for end clients all over USA. Job Title: Business Analyst Location: New York, NY Expected Duration: 4 Months Contract BA - Enterprise Resiliency Regulatory Reporting:The Business Analyst produces detailed analyses, written documentation, and management presentations for Resolution Plan submissions to regulators in the US and other countries. The Analyst works independently as well as collaborating or leading cross functional teams to meet resolution planning regulatory requirements.The Business Analyst is a key contributor to Resolution Plan, which details how would be resolved in the event of its failure. The Analyst produces detailed analyses, written documents, and management presentations, collaborating in teams.The Business Analyst is an experienced professional with expertise in financial and operational analysis as well as in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to produce the extensive analyses, management presentations, and regulatory submission documents.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the poise needed to interact with senior and executive level management. Responsibilities: Reviews regulatory requirements and determines what analyses, actions, and Resolution Plan input are needed to confirm that meets requirements Works independently to retrieve and aggregate large data sets from systems and then to perform detailed and complex analyses utilizing MS Excel and other tools Creates narrative passages in regulatory submission documents, plus supporting data appendices Creates summary-level PowerPoint presentation for senior management and regulators Applies ingenuity and creativity to solve complex problems and to produce enhancements to resolution planning activity Qualifications: 5-8 years relevant experience Subject matter expertise in data analysis, especially as an MS Excel power user Demonstrated excellence in producing executive level communications Financial analysis experience preferred About BCforward:BCforward began as an IT business solution and staffing firm.
