Business Analyst

Description We are on the lookout for a Business Analyst, specializing in the Financial Services industry, to join our team in New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be responsible for translating business needs, managing project requirements, and ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks. Responsibilities: Translate business needs into technical requirements Collect and document system and project requirements Review project requirements and lead requirement reviews Work closely with the project designers and architects to ensure their designs adhere to project requirements Manage and maintain analysis or domain models for the requirements Collaborate with the test team to ensure the tests cover the requirements adequately Lead User Acceptance tests and handle any technical issues that arise Create and analyze detailed functional specifications Deliver elements of system design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, and other detailed deliverables Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field Proven experience in Business Analysis within the Financial Services industry Excellent knowledge of business analysis methodologies Proficiency in Specification and Configuration Management Ability to handle Technical Issues and deliver on Time Delivery milestones Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents, Validation Plans, and Project Documentation Familiarity with ITIL Processes and BusinessObjects Technologies Experience in Data Migration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ability to create and understand Wireframes Proficiency in translating business requirements into functional specifications Experience in Supplier Relationship Management Understanding of EO/IR systems and Design controls Knowledge of Business Rules, Triggers, and User Exits.
