Job Description:

The Real Estate Technology Business Analyst is responsible for executing project work streams as agreed with the stakeholders and team management. You will work closely with the Real Estate stakeholder teams to successfully automate business processes and calculation models using modern technology tools & low code applications including Appian , Snowflake and Anaplan. All projects are prioritized and selected to achieve measurable operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project tasks and streams, developing and maintaining project timelines and management updates

• Document business requirements for reporting and process changes

• Design, build and implement the most efficient solution based on the business requirements gathered

• Identify opportunities for process efficiency improvements

• Drive and coordinate user testing activities and providing training to end users

• Plan and execute data migration tasks

• Reconcile and validate migrated data and reports

• Coordinate & work directly with offshore & affiliate teams

• Provide functional user support on a day-to-day basis during implementation

• Act as a system "super user" helping others to leverage systems more effectively and establishing best practice system processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experiences in business analysis / project management and/or model building functions

• Experience with Appian is required

• Prior experience in real estate or private equity business and fund accounting, along with knowledge of private equity style waterfall calculations is preferred

• Posses strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines; the candidate should be a self-starter that thrives on complexity and solution finding

• Working knowledge of business modeling tools (e.g. Anaplan) and data visualization and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.) preferred

• Have intermediate programming skills and experience preferred (i.e. Python, SQL or VBA) and willingness to learn expected

• Possess strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word); the candidate is expected to have experience building and working with large volume of data (Pivots, V- Lookups, nested statements, etc.)

• An ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly

• desire to work in an international team environment (some travel might be required), often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields

Expected annual base salary range:

$125,000 - $145,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
