Business Data / Systems Analyst

Need to travel once in a week. P&C Domain knowledge & insurance experience is must to have. Qualifications and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with data analysis using SQL and other data analysis tools.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of SQL experience
• Strong business background in Commercial P&C Insurance Underwriting functions
• Good understanding of the underwriting process
• Minimum 5 7 years' experience in a Business Systems Analyst Role supporting complex systems development or packaged software implementation efforts.
• Skilled in MS Office and Visio
• Expert Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables)
• Comfortable in a changing environment and some ambiguity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts, and vendor resources.
• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Gather requirements through interviews.
• Define requirements through data analysis and reverse engineering.
• Develop business requirement documentation, use cases, and test scenarios.
• Become an expert in our current and legacy policy systems.
• Work with underwriters and business analysts to develop and document user acceptance test cases.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and triage issues.
• Update bug tickets and user stories as needed to support development and testing.
• Build a solid relationship with the business stakeholders by demonstrating expertise and on-time delivery.
