Leading Medical Device Manufacturer is Looking to Expand Their Procurement TeamBuyers Needed!Monday-Friday Full Benefits Offered$65,000+ Salary

Purchase products by creating and authorizing purchase orders.

Track material cost savings as determined by organizational initiatives.

Procure and maintain inventory levels required to fulfill production schedule.

Research product costs, maintain price and quote information, set standard costs for purchased inventory items yearly, in accordance with requirements of Finance Department.

Maintain system planning parameters and sales demand data.

Seek ways to manage and lower costs, working with key suppliers , negotiating contracts.

Pursue ways to cut costs and maintain quality by working with Quality Control, Research & Development, Engineering and Production departments.

Follow NHC, quality, safety, and all company policies.

Closely adhere to ISO 9001, OSHA and APICS standards.

Negotiate favorable pricing, discounts, payment terms, advertising allowances, rebates, catalog allowances, lead times, and consignment programs.

Procure and maintain inventory levels in compliance with the annual Business Plan while considering current customer demand.

Exposure working with international sources of supply and ordering products globally and arrange for appropriate product safety testing in the development of proprietary products.

Assertive, effective, and solid communication and negotiating skills.

Familiarity with assigned purchasing materials, products, and equipment. Maintain knowledge of current market trends.

Strong organizational skills; able to meet deadlines.
