Additional Information – New York OnlyThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $100k-$130k/year & benefits (see below)

Overview:As a Business analyst you will be self-driven, Capital Markets focused business analyst to help design and develop front line supervision controls as part of CIB’s Market Conduct Risk and Supervision Program. Main responsibilities include designing controls, documenting requirements and user stories, prototyping solutions to mitigate key business risks.

Responsibilities:Experience in financial services regulatory control design, development and implementation Ability to use data analytics tooling (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, etc.)We are seeking a self-driven, Capital Markets focused business analyst to help design and develop front line supervision controls as part of CIB’s Market Conduct Risk and Supervision Program
  • Main responsibilities include designing controls, documenting requirements and user stories, prototyping solutions to mitigate key business risks
  • The individual will be responsible for working with a variety of data platform owners to source, map, and analyze data in support of business owned controls
  • In addition, the candidate will be required to update basic project plans to track and provide status updates on progress
  • Facilitate business requirement gathering meetings, capture details to convert them into business requirements
  • Document business process workflows, data sources and map data across multiple platforms
  • Work closely with data providers to perform business analysis and solutions around data sourcing strategies
  • Document current state control process maps and design target state solutions for automation and workflow

Requirements:Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated leadership capability; they will be impressive in their inter-personal effectiveness and with regard to their accomplishments
  • It requires a leader with strong relationship management, communication, influencing, and execution skills
  • A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate independently and successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment
  • Five to Ten years’ experience as a business analyst in a financial services environment
  • Candidate will evidence strong knowledge of Capital Markets data flows, products, and trade lifecycle(s)
  • Experience in data acquisition, data mapping, data analytics
  • Ability to lead control design, analysis and business requirements gathering independently
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile software development methodology and the ability to document business requirements in the form of user-stories
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, or similar
