Project Overview
  • The IT Change Specialist will be part of client's IT Team, and Change Management team (as a dual report) and play an important part of bringing client through its digital transformation journey.
  • The IT Change and Communication Specialist will focus on a portfolio of projects within client by engaging with key stakeholders, leading change activities and developing related solutions to aid successful change adoption. The Specialist will also help manage and coordinate IT communications and training materials, working closely with internal IT stakeholders.

Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver fit for purpose change management plans, communications, and materials that drive successful adoption and minimize risks
  • Partner with project team and key stakeholders to understand and assess the impact of the change on different groups of end users
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to prepare and execute targeted communication and engagement plans
  • Manage and develop training, adoption and awareness strategies and materials, partnering with internal Training teams as needed
  • Plan and execute change reinforcement activities post-implementation
  • Manage workstream timelines, including interdependencies
  • Report progress and flag issues and risks
  • Manage communications traffic to the business from various IT departments
  • Work with IT Chief of Staff on IT communication and training strategy, quality and consistency of materials
  • Provide other change and communications support as needed.

Skills
  • Manage multiple large, complex change management workstreams and multiple projects
  • Partner with senior leadership and senior stakeholders to understand change needs, requirements, risks and coach through change
  • Accustomed to quickly grasping change needs on large complex projects and topic areas
  • Create custom strategies for enterprise wide change connecting change
  • Comfortable with quickly understanding organizational processes, policies and compliance requirements
  • Project manage timelines and interdependences across multiple project
  • Excellent communication, organization and training skills
  • Skilled in developing and applying change management measures and related analytic skills
  • Skilled change workstream lead, and creative coach to help project team member understand change management requirements and solutions

Education & CertificationsDegree in Psychology, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Communications or similarGraduate work a plus8+ years experience managing change management teams and activities
