Cloud and Platform Solution Architect

Our client, a well established mid-size organization located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Cloud and Platform Solution Architect / Product Manager to join their team. This opportunity will allow this individual to work with cutting-edge technology and be responsible for developing and overseeing Cloud initiatives that impact the organization. This is a senior level role with a high level of responsibility. Competitive compensation package includes; Base salary, Bonus, Health benefits, 401k, etc

• Research, evaluate, develop and oversee the implementation of both short-term and long-term technical Cloud engineering solutions that improve business challenges
• E2E responsibility for the Build out a DevOps/Cloud IaaS environment
• Implement proof-of-concepts for new system designs
• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their requirements
• Develop and document best practices and operating procedures
• Work closely with the Cloud Developers and DevOps engineers to come up with CI/CD roadmaps, requirements, timelines, etc to ensure successful delivery of the product/platform

• 10+ years’ experience in information technology
• Recent experience architecting Cloud Solutions (AWS preferably)
• Experience with solution delivery including Product Management and Ownership
• Experience managing, deploying and migrating Enterprise environments to the Cloud
• Experience building out automated Cloud infrastructures (IaaS)
• Experience with Data Architecture as it pertains to migrations into the Cloud
• ITIL Certification and working in an Agile environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge and experience of technologies including but not limited to; AWS, DevOps, scalability, CI/CD, Microservices
