Get the grinding machines ready and use them to grind metal parts like dies, tools, and other things to the right size.
Look at drawings or instructions to know how to do the job and what tools to use.
Pick the right grinding wheels, tools, and things to hold the workpieces based on what the job needs.
Put the workpieces into the grinding machines by hand or using machines like hoists.
Change the machine settings to control how fast it goes and how much water it uses.
Watch the machines carefully to make sure the parts are being ground to the right size and smoothness.
Check the parts for mistakes or if they're not the right size using tools like rulers and meters.
Fix any mistakes by changing the machine settings or tools to keep the parts good.
Change the grinding wheels or tools when they get old to keep the machine working well.
Do simple things like cleaning and checking the machines to keep them working right and safe.
