Description We are looking for a highly motivated Collection Specialist on a contract basis to assist with managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments. This role is crucial to maintaining a healthy cash flow and involves direct interaction with customers to resolve outstanding issues. The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and able to manage a high volume of accounts.Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Contact clients via phone, email, and other methods to collect overdue payments.
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections in line with the contract terms.
Update account records and document all collection efforts and communication.
Negotiate payment arrangements or settlements as needed.
Work closely with the accounting team to resolve any discrepancies between customer accounts and invoices.
Generate and send account statements and collection status reports.
Maintain a positive relationship with clients while ensuring payment compliance.
Stay up-to-date on relevant collection laws and regulations.
