Job Title: Talent Management Contractor

Location – NYC & Raleigh, NC

Position Type: Long Term Contract

Rate: $55/hr on W2 All Inclusive

Job Description:Employee Retention, Engagement, and Morale InitiativesOrganize retention, recognition and rotation programsEstablish rotations programs, innovation challenges, etc.Develop career development/counseling and mentorship program strategiesDesign or source 3rd party training and continuing education programsDevelop opportunities for employees to have +1 activities or address causes they care about (e.g. volunteering, sustainability, charitable donations, diversity & inclusion, etc.)Explore other health and wellness benefits/activitiesReview social/networking programs and resources for employees to meet across divisionsEngage existing employees to help drive this initiative and feel invested in success of the programEmployee Recruitment StrategyAssess existing recruitment processes and practices and suggest improvementsEstablish internship programsEstablish new graduate programs

Workforce StrategyConduct a lookback analysis of attrition and research to understand drivers and where people are going (e.g. career change, move to a competitor, stay at home, etc.)Collaborate with HR and facilities management to understand current workforce strategyUnderstand in-flight initiatives in response to Covid-19 and the return to officeDevelop options to enhance the workforce strategy for COLM, including location analysisConduct interviews and/or surveys as needed to enhance data collection and giving current COLM employees a voiceComparisons & Peer Analysis/BenchmarkingConduct outreach to peer institutions to understand their similar pain points and response plansPresent free and low-cost tools and resources available from HRTech firms that target these overall themes (e.g. glint)

Core skills/requirementsIn-depth understanding and background of Talent Management, especially retention, recruiting and skills developmentUnderstanding of investment bank products, processes, and control frameworksProven history of delivering long-term/strategic change while faced with time/resource constraintsGood communication and inter-personal skills and ability to manage and interact with a wide-range stakeholders at all levels of the organizationAbility to work through complex design challenges with resourcing and timeframe constraints
