Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
Act as liaison between various departments to meet client needs
Conduct searches for suitable job openings and trainings for clients, comparing client qualifications with employer’s requirements
Establish rapport with area community organizations; maintain on-going relationships
Work with community organizations to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives
Enlist cooperation of community and business leaders to help increase awareness of available services in the community
Communicate with other departments and management to develop strategy and solutions
Represent WeCARE services to the community, host roundtables and monthly community-based organization meetings
QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area and three years’ experience in community relations, sales, or staffing services or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, team environment that is performance driven
Exceptional customer service and engagement skills
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Experience with publicly-funded programs; Temporary Assistance for Needy Families experience preferable
Experience in assessing the need for and making reasonable accommodations for customers
Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
Ability to use various electronic systems to carry out duties and responsibilities
