- 4-5 years experience.
- BA/BS degree or higher in marketing/market research, math/statistics.
- Experience in market research (full project management including client service, defining sample universe, questionnaire design, analysis, etc). Skilled in product testing and claims testing. Global research is preferred.
- Experience with management people (manager, supervisor, train/coaching, development.
- Knowledge of market research practices/QA.
- Knowledge of cosmetic/skincare industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
- Must possess data integrity and critical thinking skills.

- Servicing the consumer product testing needs of Research & Development, Product Development and Marketing.
- Design and management of product tests from start to finish across brands and product categories on global basis.

- Successfully completing the below responsibilities by taking lead role in decision making relating to all aspects of product testing and acting independently, with full accountability. Actively display strong problem-solving abilities as well as creativity/innovation, and competency in product testing methodologies/ objectives/project management/cost/timing/etc. Management of assigned brands testing needs. Decisions have direct impact on product testing across all brands and influence formulation/consumer claims/launch of ELC products.
- Partner with Project Management teams to track upcoming projects
- Managing project budget including negotiation of study costs, monitor budget billing and processing.
- Monitoring current research suppliers for consistency and accuracy of work. Investigating new vendors and piloting studies for feasibility of partnership. QA monitoring of testing sites.
- Supervising and providing guidance of assigned staff members. Reviewing for accuracy and consistency of work. Assisting in their professional development/growth. Managing and developing consultants/temps.
- Taking role as backup to Director to address topics/issues/etc when necessary.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of consumer product testing on global basis. Independently handle project from start to finish, with minimal input from director, and aligned with SOP.
- Taking lead role in initial kick off/initiation project meeting, partnering with R&D/PD/Legal/Marketing/etc to identify project objectives/claims. Designing and managing full range of test designs including monadic, comparison, multi-comparison, parity testing and concept testing.
- Managing high profile and/or complex studies. Responsible for servicing R&D/PD research needs/communication, managing developing protocols/project screeners/questionnaires, overseeing vendor recruitment and fieldwork, QA, tabulation plan development and analyzing data, leading to written report/presentation.
- Involved with up front client communications/discussions relating to study objectives/research needs.
- Involved with design of study methodology and partnerships with relevant groups for claims development.
