Duties Description Perform analytical support in the analysis of forward fuel oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, and/or liquid propane gas commodity markets relative to managing price volatility and providing budget price certainty to various state agency or state entity business operations conducting modeling, forecast trending, variance analysis, business case development, and other general financial and operations analysis for strategic initiatives, triggering hedging options. Develop and organize performance reports for both internal and external use. Assist in the development of short-term and long-term integrated resource plans, as well as support other long term planning processes. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and a working understanding of all the Office of General Services fuel and natural gas contracts and New York State fuel. Support any strategic initiatives resulting from the Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) proceeding to reform New York State’s energy industry. Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities. Perform other duties and special projects as required.
