Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Deal Memo Workflow: serve as a Contract Operations liaison to the Sales team by reviewing deal submissions against the Consumer Products Health Checks Policy (a robust set of Business, Finance and Legal guidelines)
  • Further CP business objectives to reduce contract cycle time by conducting weekly follow-up on outstanding inquiries to Sales team and/or Legal team
  • Provide Sales team with training as related to portals and processes relevant to the deal entry process
  • Perform systematic entry of initial deal terms into Contract Management System
  • Identify, troubleshoot and escalate anomalies in contract systems performance
  • Develop action plans to prevent reoccurring errors and identify operational inefficiencies
  • Perform weekly integrity analysis and present observations and/or recommendations to Manager
  • Participate in productivity pods which are regular meetings with a cross section of functional areas intended to address blockers and brought together to drive deals to the finish line
  • Assist in the quarterly maintenance of training materials and departments SOPs
  • Complete ad hoc special projects and data clean-ups
  • Highly analytical, able to identify underlying causes of complex issues
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of follow-through to complete tasks
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivots, vlookups)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret contract language
  • Proactive mindset with ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to multitask and manage diverse projects and assignments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Be willing to challenge the status quo and conceptualize alternative approaches

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of relevant global licensing industry work experience
  • Experience in licensing, operations and legal affairs preferred
  • A., B.S. in Business, Project Management
  • Duration: Asap – 1 year
  • Work Schedule: 9-6
  • Reason Needed for Role: temp role ended, increased volume
  • Work Location Address: Hybrid Role : 2 days in office – Tuesday and another day the candidate can select: 1515 Broadway NYC
  • Top Three Skills need for this role: customer service, well versed in Excel- creating grids, Pivot Tables, and BI Intelligence
