Java Lead/Manager

• Lead the design and development of the Agency trading platform API framework by building re-usable componentized services
• Design and build scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, secure and reliable micro-services using APIs and cloud integration technologies
• Bring your experience, knowledge and creativity, collaborating with other pods in the crew with migrating complex, multi-tier applications, or building new capabilities using APIs and cloud integration technologies
• Contribute to building automated unit and integration tests; be highly committed, and be able to build very close working relationships with both the business and support teams

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering Front Office Trading platforms which use web-based UI's
• Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions that are scalable, extensible, performant, secure and highly available using agile frameworks and methodologies
• Experienced technologist with a strong understanding of emerging and cloud technologies
• Experienced in communicating with leadership and proven communication skills to work across technical and business teams; experience and understanding of Global Markets business and front office trading workflows
• Proven experience developing enterprise solutions in Java with development expertise in high performance, high availability, high throughout, high capacity, transaction-oriented, distributed system, preferably in a financial environment; proven experience with order management systems and order state handling
• Experience with development on a Unix and/or Linux environment; highly committed, and able to build very close working relationships with both the business and support teams
• Highly resourceful and adaptive to changing priorities, with meticulous attention to detail, superb follow through and follow up skills and ability to manage a complex and diverse workload
