HIRING COST ESTIMATOR IN NYC!Job DescriptionSeeking a mid-level Architectural or Structural Cost Estimator to support various government agency projects in NYC and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing at all design stages, engage directly with engineers, investors, and other agencies, and manage pricing information from various sources for cost estimates. Responsibilities also include working with architects/engineers to define clear project scopes, preparing cost reconciliations between estimates, and participating in project meetings.Qualifications:

5+ years of estimating experience

Proficient in Excel for cost accounting and reporting

Experience with budgets ranging from $1 million to $200 million

Ability to use takeoffs as a reference

Civil & Structural experience, Architectural knowledge is a plus

Must have experience with government agencies

Knowledge of design stages including feasibility studies, master plan estimates, value engineering, cost and bid analysis, change orders

Nice to have:

Client-facing skills

Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders

Strong reconciliation and explanation skills
