Main Responsibilities for Counterparty Credit Risk Regional Process Owner (RPO):

  • Accountable for the process management of AMER Counterparty Credit Risk domain.
  • Work closely with the Global Process Owners (GPO) to maintain their domains in terms of documentation, governance, process and projects.
  • Coordinates with GPOs to design tomorrow’s transformation strategy and share any new development with AMER.
  • Lead and advise on transversal Audit and Regulatory topics on a timely manner
  • Lead change management on AMER CCR domain
  • Monitor process through KPIs and KRIs and defines remediation actions when necessary.
  • Lead to enhance data quality and improve prioritization & remediation considering efficiency and immateriality within Global governance framework - The RPO create values through synergizing processes.
  • Prepare the various inputs for governance committees to report on the risk mangement effectiveness of data used on CCR scope.
  • Accountable to challenge the scoring of Critical Data Element (CDE) used for CCR to report for BCBS 239, the RPO proposes the data lineage of new CDEs and helps create the rule to autoamte the scoring of these CDEs
  • On CCR the individual will manage data and processes used for PFE computation, Credit Stress testing.

  • Problem solving and analytical skills with a deep understanding of the Credit Counterparty risk metrics.
  • Risk management and project management experience
  • Ability to communicate with business partners (front office, middle office, back office, finance and risk) across all levels;
  • Comfortable with documenting business requirements and developing or driving technical or user process solutions

Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python and analytial toolkits(PowerBI, MicroStrategy)

Work Experience
  • Five or more years experience in Counterparty Credit Risk Modeling

Education
  • Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
