Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated CPA, who has at least 3 years of experience in small business and personal tax accounting. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, close-knit environment. The position is available on a part-time or full-time basis and requires in-person work at our office.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns (including personal, corporate, and partnership returns).

Provide ongoing client support and advice for tax planning and compliance.

Maintain accurate and organized client records.

Assist with year-end closing and audits as needed.

Collaborate with the team on complex accounting issues.

Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in small business and personal taxes.

CPA

Experience with co-op accounting is a plus.

Proficiency in accounting software, including Lacerte, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online (preferred).

Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with clients.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
