Job Title :- Creative Lab/Graphic DesignerJob Location :- Atlanta, GA or NYC, NY (Remote Post Covid) Responsibilities· Lead digital advertising design experiences through conception, execution and development cycles· Collaborate with other designers, engineers and product managers on the digital ad product definition process · Work directly with product managers to define product requirements focusing on customer efficiency and ease-of-use · Leverage rapid prototyping and frequent customer interaction to inform design decisions · Concept and design innovative end-user media advertising experiences · Educate and collaborate with internal and external partners, agencies and brands on digital advertising experiences, standards and guidelinesRequirements · BA or MA in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, or HCI, or equivalent experience · Minimum of 3 years professional experience designing interactive media and user interfaces for product software and web applications · Experience with user research and usability testing · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Expert knowledge of appropriate software (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator)· Expert retouching and image composition abilitiesprimarily required skillsets:-- Expert in Photoshop retouching, image manipulation, and assembly of multiple assets to create high-fidelity scenes (see example in the Weather Channel Dynamic Creative video below)
- Experienced with basic timeline editing and animation basics in After Effects
- Experienced with basic timeline editing of pre-created video and audio assets in Adobe AfterEffects, Premiere, etc Note I am not looking for someone who is an expert in creating original video and audio content, but that could certainly be viewed as a bonus.
- Experienced with grid layout and content hierarchy for consumer-based digital experiences
- Passionate about solving problems through design and technology
- Basic understanding of front-end layout languages e.g. HTML 5, CSS, etc
- Solid Typography design and layout skills
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Possessing a down-to-earth personality is ideal for this tight team of designers, developers, and project managers.
- Located in ATL or NYC is preferable for when we eventually return to an office, but can be remote for now
