Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Binghamton, New York. This role is within the Real Estate & Property industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for managing customer inquiries and processing work orders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer records Handle customer inquiries and resolve them effectively Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and homeowners Assist with the processing of orders, requests for quotations, and assigning tickets using designated software Educate customers about our services, products, and their benefits to enhance customer satisfaction Accurately provide information regarding in-stock items, product, and delivery information Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications Participate in on-the-job training activities and cross-train other employees on various tasks Adhere to company culture related to respect for the individual, service to our customers, and striving for excellence. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment Excellent skills in answering inbound and outbound calls Ability to handle data entry tasks with accuracy and speed Experience in email correspondence, demonstrating strong written communication skills Familiarity with order entry processes Ability to schedule appointments effectively Knowledge of the Real Estate & Property industry is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships with customers.
