Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry based in Victor, New York. The role involves handling customer queries, maintaining customer accounts, and coordinating waste and recycling programs. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process and track customer requests related to waste and recycling programs Generate and manage purchase orders for compactor hauls in a timely manner Confirm haul requests with haulers and communicate the same to customers Interpret and analyze data from waste monitoring systems for efficient scheduling Use NetSuite for various tasks such as creating sales orders, purchase orders, and cases Alert customer service of site issues and coordinate necessary responses Identify devices requiring technical assistance and communicate issues to data analysts Maintain and update customer and device information in NetSuite and Device Portal Use Microsoft Excel for editing and creating worksheets Respond promptly to customer inquiries via inbound calls and email correspondence Schedule appointments as required, ensuring effective time management. Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills. Previous experience in a call center customer service role is desirable. Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs. Accurate and efficient data entry abilities. Aptitude for email correspondence, ensuring detail oriented and timely communication with customers and colleagues. Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, showcasing excellent multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, ensuring the ability to draft, edit, and format documents as necessary. Experience in order entry, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to schedule appointments effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
