D&W Diesel Job Opportunity

D&W is seeking a Production Planning Manager for our Corporate location in Auburn, NY. The successful candidate will support the Director of Operations in maintaining the availability of products by scheduling all job tickets and meeting customers’ expectations for on time delivery of their orders.

Job Responsibilities:

Balance, monitor and release work into production to maintain stock availability and meet customer due dates

Work closely with Production management to balance workloads

Keep updated communication with sales and customer service regarding accurate lead times and any delays

Produce weekly and monthly reports to measure the performance of the planning processes

Manage the scheduling team by utilizing effective coaching/training methods to develop successful team members

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling

Strong understanding of materials flow and scheduling logic

Proficient computer skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures

Must possess excellent organization and time management skills

Ability to provide excellent customer service

This position offers competitive wages with a diverse benefit offering.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annual
