Job Details:Title: Data Analyst Location: Buffalo, NYDuration: 24 months Roles & Responsibilities:) Client is seeking a data extract specialist to join an interdisciplinary and cross-functional team and assist in the implementation of a new revenue cycle platform.) Candidates must have knowledge of tools and technologies used to extract data from multiple - possibly siloed systems and import this data into a center Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).) The candidate will work with stakeholders to help in defining, documenting, and implementing the EDW schema as well as integration/ETL pipelines required to transfer data from both legacy and new systems.) They will work with the implementation team and develop tests to ensure that the data is in the correct format, address any errors or issues that may have occurred, and document the process.) Data will be extracted from multiple legacy systems, stored in an enterprise data warehouse, and imported into the new platform.) Once the new platform is live, data will also be extracted out of the new platform and stored in the data warehouse for analysis. Basic Qualifications:) The candidate must be familiar with SQL, and relational databases such as MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server, ETL pipelines, REST/SOAP APIs, and FTP.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for extracting/transforming data as well as experience with git is required.) Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Preferred skills:) Knowledge of hospital-based information systems is preferred. Experience with Cerner Invision, Athena IDX, or other revenue cycle products is a plus.) Unix experience is a plus.
