Title: Data DevSecOps Engineer Job Description: A US based; Series A cyber-security startup is looking for a Data DevSecOps Engineer to join its team. They are architecting and developing a modern threat detection and response platform. Using AI driven insights and recommendations to measure and improve detection coverage. As a Data DevSecOps Engineer you are responsible for collecting, storing, and transferring large data ingestions in a cloud-scale environment. You will be a part of a mission to protect organizations from cybersecurity threats helping unify people, process, and technology. Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelors in computer science or relevant experience (Master/Ph.D. is a big plus)
- 3+ years of professional experience: software development, Cloud MMP Databases/Data Lakes, Python (data focused)
- Experience with at least ONE of the following: Spark, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, AWS, Firehouse
- Fluent with SQL
What You Will Be Doing: Tech Breakdown - Python
- AWS (API Gateways, Lambdas, Kinesis, etc.)
- Snowflake
- Splunk
- Azure
- SQL
- DWH
Daily Responsibilities - Build end-to-end data pipeline required for analytics
- Hands-on leader in architecting and developing data pipeline
- Work closely with detection engineering and threat hunting teams
- Design complex test cases (in tandem with QA team)
