Job Description:The Technology department is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm’s business activities. Our Engineering team is focusing on leveraging cloud technology to enable our business and drive operational efficiency. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven and dynamic data engineer to join us in our cloud migration journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the engineering, data, and security teams to implement public cloud data infrastructure
• Participate in all aspect of cloud and data engineering, as well as system integration
• Design, code and test new cloud technologies and respective modules/applications.
• Review and optimize the existing data infrastructure
• Evaluate and implement data infrastructure on Azure, with appropriate access control and secure configuration
• Create and document test cases to meet requirements
• Improve end-to-end infrastructure operations through better use of logging, monitoring, and scripting
• Implementing cloud governance, build, deployment, and monitoring

Qualifications:

• 9+ year of experience in engineering and infrastructure
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in implementation of cloud infrastructure, such as Azure, AWS
• Experience in SQL server administration
• Expertise in data engineering and cloud data processing services such as Data Factory, Data-bricks, azure monitoring, functions, etc
• Knowledge of SQL and Python, other languages are preferable (PySpark, Java)
• Good communication and collaboration skills are essential
• Ability to quickly adapt new technologies and learn new practices.
