Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Engineer in Mount Vernon, New York. As a Data Engineer, you will be primarily involved in the analysis, integration, interpretation, and reporting of data. This role falls within the tech industry and will require you to leverage your skills, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cloud Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, API Development, AWS Technologies, to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business. Support the enhancement of customer experiences by actively integrating data from multiple sources. Develop, document, and manage data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Create and manage dashboards, reports, and other end-user information portals or resources. Conduct regular data audits and analysis to ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements. Provide insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Develop forecasts, ad hoc requests, and other solutions based on data analysis. Identify and implement improvements to the data quality. Work with cloud technologies and databases to process customer applications and maintain accurate customer records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on data analysis. Requirements Proficiency in Apache Kafka and Apache Spark Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies Experience with Database management and operations Familiarity with EO/IR systems Ability to implement complex Algorithms Strong analytical skills and experience in Analytics Proficiency in Apache Hadoop Experience in API Development Familiarity with AWS Technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Availability to work flexible hours as needed Commitment to continuous learning and detail oriented development.
