Data Engineer :: W2 role

About the position: Data Engineer Duration - 3+ month ongoing contract Remote Top Priorities:

• Must-Haves:
  • Airflow, Composer
  • Big Query, DBT
  • Experience building external databases
  • "Strong SQL/data modeling skills would be a better fit for the current state of the team"
  • Main Technologies they use: Google Cloud, BigQuery, Airflow, Stitch
• Nice To Haves:
  • experience building services/services on top of databases
  • Plus: understanding how infrastructure operates
• Notes/Additional Tools:
  • Big query warehouse
  • Pipeline experience
  • Export to looker and external databases
  • Google Cloud
  • Airflow on Cloud Composer
  • Stitch for ELT processes
  • Heap
  • Python - need to know how to understand/read/code in Python
    • The current code is written in Python
• No industry-specific experience required
  • someone with marketplace experience would be good, though

• Mostly are working on ingesting product data and modeling the data so that it can be exported to stakeholders (analysts/data scientists/product managers)
• Structural work, migrating DAG (airflow dags into composer)
• Pipeline specific tickets - i.e. macros need to be updated
