Data Engineer with Java + Any ETL tool” that we are exclusively recruiting for one of our Fortune Client. We are looking to fill this requirement urgently.

Title:

Data Engineer with Java + Any ETL tool

Location: Port Washington, NY (Hybrid from day one. This is Long Island, NY)

Duration: 12+ Months

Note: Need a data engineer that specializes in java development with any ETL tool.

Talend will be the #1 choice.

Requirements:
  • Must have 2+ years of Java development exp.
  • Strong SQL
  • ETL - Talend experience strongly preferred, especially troubleshooting underlying code and/or custom components
  • Good experience building reusable frameworks
  • Analytical skills – Ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions
  • Documentation skills – ability to represent ideas, requirements, and problems in clear and concise documents
  • A love of data, data munging, and care about building the right abstractions
  • Preferred - cloud computing experience on Google Cloud Platform or AWS
  • Preferred - distributed computing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
  • Preferred - understanding of Relational / NoSQL database
