We are a well-established irrigation company in New York City. We are seeking an exceptional data entry and customer service representative to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring optimal customer experience, and the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. The right candidate possesses excellent communication skills, is detail oriented, and is comfortable taking direction.

The position is to interact with customers to schedule service appointments and manage all related data. This work will ensure clear documentation of all interactions and maintain our high standard of data quality. In a customer service capacity, you will be responsible for interacting with customers by phone and email. In a data entry capacity, you will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, report generation and record keeping, as well as direct communication with internal departments in-person, by phone, and by email to resolve data issues.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position starts at $20-$25

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately schedule and reschedule appointments

Coordinate appointment booking and changes, and act as a liaison between the technicians and clients

Forward calls and messages to the appropriate recipients in a timely manner

Ability to keep records of call transactions with strong written skills to clearly document details of calls

Ideal applicants will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing them to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues

This position requires exceptional attention to details and the ability to communicate efficiently

Data Entry: Inputting a variety of data, including text, numerical, and alphanumeric, into our databases and systems accurately and efficiently. Transfer data from paper formats into database systems

Data Verification: Reviewing and validating data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary adjustments when errors are identified. Collaborate with team members to validate and verify data to ensure its integrity and reliability when necessary

Data Maintenance: Ensuring the integrity and consistency of data by conducting regular data reviews and updates as needed. Follow up with team members on existing data issues and verify resolutions

Data Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. Verifying documents and forms for accuracy and completeness

Collaboration: Working closely with and having direct communication with internal departments in-person, by phone, and by email to resolve data issues

Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365

Customer support experience, skills, and comfort handling challenging situations over the phone - ability to be empathetic, compassionate, responsive and resourceful

Spanish speaking A PLUS

Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or other related fields. However, we are willing to train the right individual provided they have the above qualifications
