Data Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the non-profit industry, located in New York, New York, 10024, United States. This role primarily involves heavy data entry as part of our "Meals on Wheels" program, where you will be responsible for inputting whether our clients have received their meals or not. The position operates from Monday to Friday, 9-5.Responsibilities: Heavy data entry: Accurately enter large volumes of data in a timely manner. Track "Meals on Wheels" program: Monitor and record whether clients have received their meals. Maintain client records: Regularly update and maintain accurate client records. Communication: Communicate effectively with the team and clients to ensure smooth operations. Problem-solving: Resolve any issues or discrepancies in client meal delivery records. Requirements Demonstrable experience in a data entry role within the non-profit sector Proficiency in using various data entry software and tools Excellent typing skills with high level of accuracy and speed Strong attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies or errors Basic understanding of databases and data analysis procedures Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
