TITLE: Data Specialist/Developer DEPARTMENT: Information Systems LOCATION: New York SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Information Systems Department, develop and maintain macro programs using VBA or Excel macro applications. Develop RPA (Robotic Process Automation) programs. Perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality of programs as a member of the Application Team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Completes projects as developer by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments under supervision of Senior Manager.
- Maintain current and newly developed macro programs per user requirements.
- Develop RPA programs and maintain RPA system.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: - Support the SAP Help Desk. Support Subsidiaries Legacy system. Support EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
- Administrative work: Manage applications (new/delete system IDs, filing applications).
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Strong working knowledge of:- PCs (Windows10, MS Office/MS 365)
- Macro (VBA) on MS Office/MS 365
Preferred:- RPA(Blue Prism) knowledge
- Experienced with RPA development
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent technical or professional experience.Minimum of three to five years’ experience in related field.Prior Information Systems experience, with diverse understanding of how different technologies work.Experience with EDI procedures and formats.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.Exceptional organization skills.Self-motivated with attention to applications and details.Business travel to regional offices as required.
