Summary:The firm is seeking an experienced ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) Data Focused candidate with a proven track record of partnering with a variety of complex businesses on their needs, selection, and continued usage of external ESG data providers for use in the Investment Management space. The position will require detailed knowledge of all aspects of demand management (analyzing and validating users requirements, understanding the business models of the firm and how they may change over time, and conducting market research on potentially new services and solutions), and participation in setting the strategic agenda and plan for the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance areas (ESG) strategy. The role will also include managing and overseeing the maintenance, exception monitoring and completeness of the ESG data sets in the firm's central data warehouse and across the organization's various Research Management Systems. Responsibilities:Establish and maintain a strong understanding of the firm's requirements of ESG data.Maintain a vast awareness of the ESG product marketplace and competitive landscape in terms of new products and evolving capabilities.Establish trusted partnerships with the various lines of business providing ESG data subject matter expertise related to research and portfolio management capabilities as well as the firm's regulatory and client reporting requirements. Partner with other groups to establish and maintain a best-in-class ESG Data capability including the COOs of the firm's various business lines, the Chief Business Technology leads, Application Service Delivery and Financial Management (Costs, Budgets, and Allocations).Liaise with business and technology delivery managers acting as a subject matter expert around third party ESG data providers.Where required, set up Service Level Agreements with business partners ensuring the ESG data sourcing procured meets expectations.Manage the governance activities associated with ensuring the integrity of ESG master data including creating quality control reports and resolving data exceptions and ensuring data accuracy and completeness.Responsible for producing data quality and quantity metrics.Timely escalation of issues and resolution to Senior Management.Requirements:Extensive experience with ESG or Sustainable data and regulations such as SFDRExperience utilizing ESG vendors, such as MSCI, TruCost, Sustainalytics and ISSExceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner to both technical and business audiences.Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teamsProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and advanced proficiency with Microsoft ExcelEffective time management skills; strong presentation and interpersonal skills.The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let me know your interest for this position, availability to interview and start for this position along with a copy of your recent resume or please feel free to call me at any time with any questions.
