Title: Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities

and Duties
  • EDW skill set to support and maintain interfaces from/to Jack Henry with all downstream apps/products
  • Experience working with windows servers – installing, maintaining, troubleshooting programs in windows environment.
  • Ability to take ownership of various Jack Henry application products and ensure they are up and running.
  • Become familiar with various application products to provide Production Support, upgrading, troubleshooting and documenting for other team members.
  • Work closely with application vendors and IT-Infrastructure Team to implement, upgrade and test applications in UAT, Production and BC/DR Environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying the origination systems involved and depict the source of issues.
  • Document System/Design Specifications, Program documentation etc. as per Bank’s SDLC policy.
  • Maintain Development Issues Log to keep track of on-going development issues and for timely resolution of priorities.
  • Good communication skills to work with internal and external 3rd party applications Production Support and Development teams to resolve issues, perform upgrades/enhancements etc.
  • Willing to support client’s nightly core banking end of day processes on a monthly rotation basis. (Expect light support issues, Jack Henry to handle most EOD errors)
  • Proven ability to proactively work independently on multiple tasks based on priority.
  • Ability to interact and be a team player in a very diverse group.

Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of EDW Skills - Data Modeling, TimeXtender Discovery Hub, Daily loads, Batches, Mappings, Reconciliations etc.
  • Scripting - windows batch, Unix shell, vbscript, PowerShell, JavaScript
  • Database technologies - SQL server, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL tools – SSIS, Discovery Hub
  • Web technologies - IIS, Apache Tomcat, html, Web services, MuleSoft
  • File transfer - ftp, sftp
  • Scheduling tools - Autosys, CA workload automation
  • Reporting tools- Crystal, Cognos, Qlik
  • Fiserv ICBS/CBS knowledge while not mandatory but a plus for secondary/back-up support - iSeries operating system, DB2, RPG IV/ILE knowledge. Some familiarity would help in order to get trained on the back-up prod support responsibilities. Willing to educate
  • Languages – Java, C#, etc knowledge a plus
  • Networking/infrastructure knowledge a plus
