A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a Database Developer for a 6-12 month contract.

Some onsite work is required throughout the life of the contract, and is likely to increase over time. Local candidates only.

To be considered for this position, the client has advised that upon placement, consultants will be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances, show proof of full vaccination or submit on a weekly basis proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test

Requirements and skills

  • Strong experience with C# .Net, Bootstrap and MVC
  • Strong experience with T/SQL Microsoft SQL Server 2014+
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Database Performance Tuning
  • Experience with business requirement gathering and analysis
  • Focused, hard-working and willing to perform analysis at both high and low levels
  • Strong technical background along with the ability to perform business analysis and write effective documentation and specifications.
  • Ability to present and explain information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • GUI Screen Design

Desired Skills

  • Experience with systems integration
  • Experience working with XML
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology

Responsibilities

  • Looking for a dynamic individual to join the Business Systems Delivery department as a contractor within Information Technology. This assignment will be to make modifications to the Energized Objects and Electric Shock Reports web applications.
  • The candidate must be an experienced IT professional who demonstrates a strong understanding of how technology enables and supports business outcomes as both business objectives and technologies evolve.
  • The candidate must be results oriented and possess the skills and ability to learn quickly, assimilate new concepts, think analytically and work independently.
