Description SUMMARY As a Dental Assistant, your ability to anticipate needs, maintain a sterile office environment and keep accurate records greatly contributes to the success of the dentist and the satisfaction of the patient.STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital DEPARTMENT: DentalSCHEDULE: Days ATTRIBUTESAt least one (1) year experience as a Dental Assistant preferredBasic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to anticipate needs and multitask with excellent customer service Exceptional attention to detail and cleanlinessRESPONSIBILITIES Dental Assistance. Prepare dental supplies necessary for each patient; anticipate dentist needs for instrumentation and materials during the procedural treatment on the patient; assist with x-rays, fillings and positioning suction tubesSterilization & Maintenance. Clean and sterilize all dental instruments following proper proceduresDocumentation & Coordination. Maintain all patient records and update as necessaryPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $19.40The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
