A financial services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new Desktop Support Technician. In this role, the Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing user onsite and remote support to internal employees. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work 3 days a week onsite (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

Responsibilities: The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for:
  • Dealing with Level 1-3 issues
  • Providing support for Windows 10, MacOS and iOS
  • Managing user and device accounts in a multi-tenant Microsoft environment
  • Managing Windows AD, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange, etc.
  • Onboarding and offboarding of new hires and terms
  • Supporting telephony, Zoom and MS Teams conference systems and all A/V systems
  • Overseeing and updating assigned support service requests
  • Networking troubleshooting and configuration
  • Manage user devices in Verizon portal

Qualifications

:
  • 5+ years of Desktop Support experience
  • Windows, MacOS and iOS troubleshooting skills
  • Solid understanding of Windows environment within a corporate network
  • Working knowledge of MS Exchange, Office 365
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with MS Endpoint, Azure AD, RSA SecurID
  • G-suite experience
  • Linux experience
  • Scripting/PowerShell knowledge
  • Experience with Ivanti Management Console
