Job Title: Desktop Technician

Location: Buffalo NY

Duration: 6 Months (High chances of extension) Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Technology management, senior engineers and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the disposition of all technology equipment to include Laptops, Desktops, Thin Clients, Workstations, Tablets, Apple iPhones, iPads, MiFi devices, Micr Readers, BIC Scanners, Journal Printers, Joggers and any peripheral equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve escalations on moderately to highly complex issues using diagnostic tools available. Maintain and track repair inventory log for all devices and equipment.
  • Represent Corporate ReUse Team with Service Now issues platform which includes infrastructure review,Triage and process all Service Now orders and tickets to ensure business continuity for new equipment and break/fix replacement devices.
  • Participate in Service Now enhancement meetings to communicate needs to the department to product owners and other stakeholders.

Skills
  • Provide training to less experienced staff.
  • Use tools to help automate processes and make systems more efficient, manageable, available, and secure. • Experience working with Executive Level Management
  • Knowledge of WebEx, MS Teams, O365, iOS and Android support.
  • Supporting Virtual/Onsite events using Cisco Video equipment and third party conferencing services (Zoom, On24, GoToMeeting, etc.)
