Citi is widely considered to be the market leader in Treasury and Trade Solutions.PositionThe role will report to the TTS Head of Investment Planning and Governance to support the oversight of the $1billion portfolio of annual technology investments ensuring efficient, consistent execution and governance of initiatives across product families and geographies.The Agile in Business Transformation Lead will drive the implementation of an Agile mindset and approach across all TTS business teams. This role will be responsible for designing and executing an effective Agile transformation strategy in strong partnership with our technology group. The role will perform a key function in supporting business teams deliver to clients better solutions in a faster and more efficient manner by creating a culture of continuous improvement, by driving cultural change to an Agile mindset, thus helping TTS be at the forefront of industry best practicesThis role will lead the process of analyzing a very complex set of lines of business from a strategic perspective as well as a tactical product development perspective providing thought and execution leadership to help teams arrive at processes that accelerate the achievement of near-term business outcomes and long-term growth. This includes establishing TTS-wide standards creating a culture of Agile value-based innovation.ResponsibilitiesThe role applies in-depth understanding of the business importance of a value driven approach to technology investments and covers multiple functions related to Agile adoption, includingVision and Roadmap:

Formulate a vision and road map for implementation of Agile practices across all lines of business from their current to target state. Negotiate priorities for Agile implementation

Lead teams in defining and cascading OKRs across each business pillar from seniors on down

Awareness and Coaching:

Lead, train, and coach the organization in its Agile adoption. Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching

Define and train teams on effective product goal definition and product backlog management.

Standards, Governance and Alignment across the organization:

Manage the building of the foundation, governance, and process for operating in an Agile fashion

Ensure selected solutions are designed, built and implemented using consistent Agile methodologies

Partner with the Strategic Execution team and the technology group in ensuring end to end Agile practices in solution delivery

Execution leadership:

Support teams in determining the resource allocation to maintain agile practices and ensure smooth product delivery

Be the go-to businessperson for engagement and alignment with technology to identify and resolve challenges to Agile adoption

Guide champions in line of business Agile to effectively develop and implement the strategy outlined for the line of business.

Reporting and control:

Establish and manage the consistent adoption across TTS teams of key performance metrics to measure the ongoing maturity and success of the Agile transformation plan. Develop metrics to demonstrate the improved delivery of client solutions.

Develop and implement reporting to key stakeholders on the progress of the Agile implementation

Experience and Qualifications10+ years in roles in IT related business strategy, of which 5 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs using Agile across an enterprise and creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps. Financial services industry experience

Working knowledge of best practices in value-driven development including requirements management, prototyping, and hypothesis-driven development

Strong background in collaboration tools: JIRA, Rally, Confluence

Proficiency in BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau

Agile

Certifications: Scrum Master or Product Owner (preferably Advanced).

Experience: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe or Scrum@Scale)/ Agile Coach experience implementing Agile techniques in different environments and running Agile projects of large complexity

Ability to lead teams in defining and creating value drivers of Agile execution

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or bachelor’s degree in a business discipline with substantial work experience in technology

Other SkillsCommunication :

Strong communicator, written and oral across all levels of the organization.

Clarity, focus and economy of communication is essential.

Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.

Business focus:

Commercial awareness to understand and probe into Key Performance Indicators to gauge the extent initiatives have properly identified them, and to what extent initiatives are meeting them.

Financial Services Markets or Banking background

Management of complexity:

Experience working across a complex set of stakeholders and businesses

Ability to operate at different levels: to analyze issues, synthesize them. Develop themes. Understand risks, Translate lessons learned into action
