Leads an Environmental Services group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Environmental Services Department.
Identifies and analyzes needs in all areas on all shifts; investigates new procedures and techniques.
Develops and implements action plans to meet needs and improve service.
Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
Oversees the development, coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of operating policies and procedures consistent and in collaboration with all guidelines.
Develops and manages direct reports; oversees the development and management of their staff.
Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.
Oversees compliance with government and agency regulations.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
RCRA and/or DOT certification for generating, storing, and shipping hazardous waste and materials, preferred.
