IISTAR (Investments, Incentives, Strategy, Tools, Analytics and Reporting) is a team that drives revenue growth for Microsoft by leading the decisions and governance for the multi-billion-dollar portfolio of investments across GPS while also working with segment leaders to create the three-year strategy for the organization.This individual will be responsible for leading the strategy and design for a subset of the portfolio of structured and agile incentives and investments.You have developed and implemented strategies that generate revenue and positive outcomes for partners or customers.You have a strategic growth mindset, drive positive business impact, and continuously learn and innovate.You have the capability to actively contribute and build strong collaboration within diverse and virtual teams.You are action-oriented and able to build and deliver strong results through others beyond the team as well.You proactively engage directly with External Partners and internal business partners to gain insights into our portfolio and offerings.You simplify and inspire through storytelling and excellent communication skills.You contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.Responsibilities Define vision, strategy, and design for a set of partner-facing incentives and investments Track program effectiveness (e.g., expected ROI, terms, payout percentages, opportunities for compliant creativity) Lead cross-team steering committees for each incentive or investment to create a One Microsoft approach Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture Some global travel required (15%)QualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field

OR equivalent experience.

6+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.

Preferred Experience defining and leading business strategies from white board to reality Pricing and/or incentive strategy project experience or subject matter expertise Experience collaborating with stakeholders with competing priorities to create aligned strategies Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues and scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts with audiences of all levels Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment balancing complexity while driving strategic outcomes Comfort and excellence with public speaking Principled decision making and confidence to respectfully say no to ideas and outcomes that are not in line with desired investment or incentive goals or budget An understanding of Microsoft’s commercial business models and licensing constructs (or similar at other companies) An understanding of channel models and strategy (e.g., direct, indirect, etc.)The salary range for this role in the STATE OF COLORADO is from $129,800-$222,000Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
