Leads a Software Development, Engineering and Services group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
Overall responsibilities which span strategic, business, and personnel management functions include, experience in managing Testing Center of Excellence; large scale testing projects.
Collaborates with executives and customers as needed to define an appropriate service level, ensures current/forecasted capacity can achieve desired service level given current/forecasted demand, commits to specific projects to be delivered on-time, at budget; collaborates with vendors to ensure timely sourcing and onboarding while keeping waste to a minimum in a highly volatile environment.
Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action; develops and oversees financial management including budget, salary, capital, and revenue projections.
Oversees the development, coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of operating policies and procedures consistent; selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; oversees the development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.
Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations; oversees compliance with government and agency regulations.
Ensures adequate scheduling and assigns responsibilities to ensure an equitable distribution of work.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
Preferences:
Strong understanding of Infrastructure Technologies and Storage
Background in Intersystems software
Experience in Disaster Recovery architecture
Background in UNIX and Linux
Experience in troubleshooting messaging technologies
