We are also home to EyeMed, the fastest growing vision care company in the United States.GENERAL FUNCTIONLead the brand’s execution of fleet activities for Core Macy’s, and Outfitters stores, including store openings, closings, remodels, relocations, and discretionary projects within an approved multi-million capital budget. Responsible for the operational review and approval of all new, remodel, and relocation design plans incorporating brand strategies and maximizing capital and expense spend. Oversee a team responsible for executing the brand’s fleet projects including project logistics, new store operating procedures, fleet processes and procedures, operations readiness and management of in-store and remote implementation of all project deliverables.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead and deliver the annual fleet plan, managing all activities to open, close, remodel, refresh or relocate a store within the same property or market, and discretionary projects. Scope includes all logistics, communications, and field execution from project start to completion for Sunglass Hut core, Macy’s and Outfitters stores

Control field execution and adherence to scope, budget, and timelines on all fleet projects

Approve new, remodel, and relocation design plans for both Core and Macy’s stores; ensures the Sunglass Hut and Macy’s customer are incorporated into store layouts and fixture plans

Analyze and develops operating standards, processes and procedures to execute all fleet projects supported by well-documented process maps, manuals, escalation paths, key point of contacts, and online resources

Identify key brand partners including Nextore, VM, and IT to deliver the fleet plan and hold them accountable to key dates and service levels

Lead the Project Logistics Managers and Fleet Renewal Managers to implement annual fleet projects in-store or through remote project management focused on high-quality results and excellent customer service

Identify new ways to reduce project timelines, improve overall efficiencies, minimize open issues, and maximize sales by reducing overall impact to the business. Influence cross-functional partners to implement optimized best practices

Understand current business processes; and maintain working knowledge of Store Operations

Act as a liaison between field leaders and the maintenance department. Oversee maintenance spend and own responsibility over the budget. Make key maintenance decisions on behalf of the brand and ensure open items are closed in a timely fashion.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSCollege Degree or equivalent experience

10+ years of experience in retail operations

Demonstrated success with planning and implementation of high priority/complex projects supported by strong project management skills

Strong leadership and critical thinking skills

Strong business acumen

Ability to lead upward and influence decision-making at all levels

Excellent prioritization skills with clear focus on results

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to anticipate and manage issues; bring authority and influence to the team; be able to leverage lessons learned from past experiences.

Ability to travel
