Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing: Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, and pots and pans using a dishwasher or by hand, ensuring proper temperature and sanitation.

Table Maintenance: Bus tables by clearing soiled dishes and utensils, and clean and sanitize dining room tables.

Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing and dining room areas, as well as restrooms and other public spaces.

Trash Management: Remove trash from dining areas and restrooms, and transport and dispose of it in the dumpster.

Stocking: Replenish and maintain supplies in the dishwashing area, dining room, and restrooms.

Support: Assist servers with delivering clean serviceware, setting and resetting dining tables, and help the kitchen team by putting away dishes and performing minor food preparation tasks.

Essential Skills & Qualities

Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items, such as cases of supplies or loaded dish racks.

Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are crucial to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in ensuring dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized and maintaining a spotless work environment.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with servers and other kitchen staff.

Fast-Paced Environment: Capacity to work efficiently and manage tasks during busy periods.

Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations.
