Dynamics 365 Business Analyst (F&O)

I have a full time opportunity for a top tier organization in Midtown Manhattan for a Dynamics 365 Finance Business Analyst. The ideal candidate must have “functional” Dynamics experience. • Work closely with the Functional Lead on the design and development of functional processes that enhance the use and capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics F&O and HR 365
• Effectively promote the functional capabilities of Dynamics within the organization, aiding further adoption throughout the business
• Identify risks, mitigate and communicate as necessary
• Ensure updates to the Dynamics solution are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally
• Identify functional capability development activities and help in defining how these will be delivered
• Engage in Business Analysis for the project during the discovery phase to establish and document business needs and benefits
• Assist Business Stakeholders and IT Business Partners in defining project objectives, scope and business justification
• Identify and agree analysis deliverables / format / timeframe for delivery
• Perform analysis using the most appropriate format for the project and project stage
• Elicit requirements within Waterfall or Agile methodologies; run workshops, face-to-face meetings, shadowing, process modelling
• Produce process maps using BPMN 2.0 notation in Visio
• Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly using appropriate format – BRD, FRD, Requirements Catalogue, User stories, DevOps PBIs

• Hands on functional consulting involvement in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics AX 2012
• Experience and/or a working knowledge of HR systems for large multinationals
• Experience performing Business Analysis to identify solution requirements using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance for core finance modules (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Projects, Fixed Assets, Banking, etc.)
• Microsoft DevOps and/or Jira
• Working experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Be a strong team member in end-to-end task management, including project scoping, analysis and design, functional and technical documentation, configuration, testing, training and go-live support
