Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Electrical Design Intern. In this role, you will work closely with a team of engineers involving some of the following tasking: Assist in electrical schematic and cable harness assembly development for military platforms or associated lab environments. Assist with lab build, rack assembly, integration, and test efforts such as continuity testing of cable harnesses. Edit designs for minor changes using AutoCAD or Zuken E3. Assist with bill of material entry and drawing releases. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of component design and manufacturing, have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving, have a basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems , be highly competitive and motivated to take ownership of commitments and meet objectives, and be capable of managing complex tasks and drive them to successful outcomes. Must be a US Citizen.Basic Qualifications:- Pursuing Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Familiar with Engineering Software Tools (3D/2D CAD)- Able to work Full time on site at Owego, NY facility- Must be a US CitizenDesired Skills:- Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Zuken E3 and/or Windchill tools- Strong “hands on” mechanical aptitude.- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.- Familiar with analyzing interface control documents and system architecture diagrams to create one line interconnect diagrams, lower level point to point schematic diagrams, and associated cable harness assemblies to meet program or lab requirements- Familiarity with applicable government specifications & standards and industry documents such as MIL-DTL-38999, ANSI/IPC-A-620, and SAE AS 50881- A working knowledge of basic electronic measurement equipment is a plus. This may include the ability to take measurements using an oscilloscope and a Digital Volt Meter, or use of a Spectrum Analyzer and/or a Measurement receiver. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $20,904 - $61,672 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $24,024 - $67,288.
