Electrical Engineer

Plan and develop electrical and fire alarm systems design for new and existing facilities

Assess and modify existing power distribution systems

Coordinate electrical services with other building elements such as mechanical, architectural & structural

Sizing Cables, Circuit protective devices, Panel Boards and Conduits and Pathways

Perform calculations including but not limited to total system Voltage Drop and Short Circuit Calculations and Coordination Studies

Troubleshoot relay and data system design

Research and specification of electrical components for optimal design to meet project goals

Perform peer review and analysis of drawings, specifications, reports and studies prepared by other electrical engineers to ensure compliance with codes and standards

100 FULLY REMOTE POSITION

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 year degree (BS) in electrical engineering

Minimum 5+ years previous experience in electrical engineering design for building systems in the USA

Familiarity with electrical codes and standards including NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 72, NYS/NYC Construction Codes

Proficiency in use of AutoCAD and Revit

E.I.T or P.E Preferred
