SEEKING ELETRICAL TECHNICIANSDescription:The Electrical Technician performs a variety of functions related to the general maintenance of our plant. Success in this position requires extensive experience working with and maintaining industrial electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to communicate with various levels of the organization. Ultimately, the Maintenance Electrician ensures the smooth running of a building's electrical related systems and resolves issues quickly and efficiently.Responsibilities Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances Troubleshoot system failures Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand wiring placement Testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters Conduct maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures Respond to fault requests Provide suggestions for equipment replacement Write electrical maintenance reports Installation of electrical appliances/equipment Adhere to safety and performance standards Identify and provide mitigation suggestions for workplace hazards Complete PMs as scheduled Complete assigned tasks given by Supervisor, which may include some Mechanical and Facilities work. Knowledge of PLC and drive systemQualifications: Must have at least 5 years of proven experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial environment Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial/manufacturing setting Strong analytical and solution driven mindset Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical abilities Strong ability to read measurement devices and blue prints Strong troubleshooting abilitiesAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
