Electrician for Solar Installations - NYC & Long Island

Seeking experienced Electrician to join our solar installation team serving New York City and Long Island. This role focuses on AC electrical systems, utility interconnection, and electrical upgrades for residential solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform AC wiring and connections for solar PV systems

- Complete utility interconnections according to local code requirements

- Install and configure inverters, monitoring systems, and battery storage

- Conduct electrical service upgrades when necessary

- Implement proper grounding and bonding systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation

- Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements

Qualifications:

- Must have reliable transportation

- Experience with electrical work (solar experience preferred)

- Knowledge of NEC requirements for solar PV systems

- Experience with service panel upgrades and main service work

- Understanding of utility interconnection requirements

- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics

- Comfortable working with AC electrical systems
